While a lot of work went on yesterday, there wasn't anything visual to report. The painters worked on glazing windows and sanding down rough areas. They also caulked EVERY seam of the exterior to be painted and then sprayed a wood sealant on everything. Since we're using a latex paint, it will eliminate having moisture build up on/in the wood behind the paint to avoid future rotting.
Today, I'm hoping that some painting will begin because, basically, I am a child at heart and am impatient to see the colors appear. The company (CertaPro Painters) are amazing. They called last night to ask our permission for the workers to work on Saturday (today). Since the weather is so good, the workers wanted to continue. No, it doesn't cost us extra but they wanted to make sure we weren't planning outdoor functions, etc. I'll take professional consideration any time! Watch here for any pics later in the day.
